CHARITY

Royal Tribe Arts Endowment Fund was developed to promote the efforts and development of young urban & progressive artists, to inspire and navigate the mainstay of what is collectively known as urban art. By allowing artists to focus on the creation process and not the expense of creating, Royal Tribe Arts has built an extraordinarily strong platform from which our artists can produce their work and develop their vision.

Royal Tribe Arts has set out to enable artists all over the region by providing opportunities, both artistic and financial. Through our programs and the support of like-minded individuals and corporations, we have been able to fund learning scholarships and art supply and equipment grants, to lessen what is often the biggest obstacle to artist development - funding.

In addition to our individual grants and scholarships, Royal Tribe Arts has also created several programs that give back to the community directly, such as our inner city recording project, which encourages young artists to create more positive music and develop resolutions to conflicts encountered in their daily lives. We feel that doing so introduces a sense of pride, ownership and community to a student by encouraging their own talents and creating something safe and inspirational.

Further, by aiding artists directly through coordination of performance and gallery shows and through our one-on-one artist development programs we provide artists with the experience they need to successfully market themselves and their work to galleries, corporations and publishers, coupled with a hands-on approach to personal development and learning.
